The TTG Travel Awards has been recognising the best of Asia-Pacific’s travel industry since 1989. This prestigious annual event honours stellar organisations and individuals in 4 categories: Travel Supplier, Travel Agency, Outstanding Achievement and Travel Hall of Fame. This TTG Travel Trade Publishing event is proudly organised by TTG Asia, with the support of TTG India, TTG China, TTGmice, TTGassociations, TTG-BTmice China and TTG Asia Luxury.

The first annual TTG Travel Awards began in 1989 and has been organised by TTG Asia every year since, with the exception of 2003 due to the SARS epidemic, and 2020-2021 due to COVID-19.

Since the awards first began, this celebrated event has grown significantly in terms of participation from the industry as well as the number of awards given out each year. From a mere 10 awards in 1989, the Awards now honours over 80 winners across 4 categories – two voting, one non-voting and one honorary.

The TTG Travel Awards are now reputed as the most coveted and influential awards to be won in the region’s travel industry.

Each year, the awards ceremony and gala dinner is attended by some of the industry’s most renowned personalities, which makes the awards a truly star-studded event. Moreover, attendance to the gala includes other international media who provide coverage and publicity of the event beyond the region.

The annual search for Asia Pacific’s most outstanding travel organisations that typically spans 2 months from April to June, calls upon industry professionals, including readers of TTG Asia, TTGmice, TTG China, TTG India, TTG-BTmice China, TTGassociations, and TTG Asia Luxury, to name their preferred travel suppliers in the region who have risen above the competition and surpassed expectations.

There are 2 voting categories, Travel Supplier Awards and Travel Agency Awards.

For Travel Supplier Awards, only votes cast by travel consultants, tour operators and destination management companies count towards the final result.

For Travel Agency Awards, only votes cast by hoteliers, airline staff, car rental companies, cruise operators, national tourism organizations, GDS companies and all other travel professionals (except travel consultants, tour operators and destination management companies) count towards the final result.
